The Comtronics Security Division, established in 1970,
is comprised of burglar alarms, fire alarms, access
control, and video surveillance. Over the years the
Comtronics Security Division has grown and presently
has over 4,500 residential and commercial customers
in eight states: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin,
Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Florida. Comtronics security
systems are approved by both the insurance industry
and the banking industry.
Comtronics is a factory authorized Radionics Preferred
Dealer. Comtronics is licensed by the Michigan State
Police (License BA-0027) and Michigan State Fire Marshall
(License A-0093). Comtronics alarm systems offer high
security radio back-up and high security cellular back-up
services. Comtronics owns its own 24 hour alarm monitoring
facitily. All facilities and services are certified
by Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. (UL).
All Comtronics employees are DOT drug tested. Technicians
are NICET trained and certified as well as being NT
trained and certified. Alarm center operators are factory
trained and certified.
