- All Call - One
way broadcast of announcements to all paging speakers in a system.
- Background Music - Music
played over paging speakers. Typically mutes only on the speaker(s)
being paged.
- Clock Tones - A
single tone played over paging speakers used to indicate scheduled
events such as break times or shift changes.
- Contact Closure - A
switch closure used to activate/deactivate a device (door locks, tones,
cameras).
- Group Call -
One-way broadcast to a selected group of zones, or areas.
- Night Ring/UNA Tone - A
warble tone that is broadcast over paging speakers when a phone line
rings after hours.
- One-way Paging - A
voice page that is broadcast over speakers. Listeners hear messages but
cannot reply.
- Tailback Paging -
A voice page that allows the listeners in the area being paged to
respond directly back through the speaker providing hands free two-way
communication.
