Established in 1992, the Father Coyle Society is named in honor of Lumen Christi’s first principal, Father
Joseph Coyle, O.S.F.S., whom many of you will remember. Its objectives are to perpetuate Fr. Coyle’s
commitment, leadership and vision and to maintain the standard of excellence he set.
In 1997 we introduced an Annual Appeal to meet annual budget needs. At that time the Father Coyle
Society was incorporated into this Annual Appeal. Each year since then, membership in this leadership
giving society has grown. The members have proven to be vital to the overall success of the Annual
Appeal, thus insuring the financial health of our school.
Several levels of leadership giving have been established within the Father Coyle Society. The goal in
establishing these levels is to insure the success of our critically important Annual Appeal by challenging
contributors to carefully consider their donations and to then recognize as appropriate their generosity.
Membership in the Father Coyle Society includes all contributors of $600 or more to the Annual
Appeal. Listed below are four levels of leadership giving established within the Society:
Founder’s Circle – Gifts of $10,000 or more
Principal’s Circle – Gifts of $4,550 to $9,999
($4,550 is the tuition for one child whose family
is a contributing member of a founding parish)
Benefactors – Gifts of $1,000 to $4,549
Friends – Gifts of $600 - $999
Each spring, members of the Society are invited to a Mass and Dinner, at which time individuals who
demonstrate their commitment to our school are honored. This event provides an opportunity for us
to join together in faith to celebrate our school. This year’s Mass and Dinner will take place on
Saturday, May 19, 2007.
Gifts made to the Appeal between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007, will be considered gifts to the
2006-2007 Annual Appeal. All donors will be recognized in an Annual Report. All gifts, whether
large or small, are appreciated and will make a difference. We are hoping for your support and
praying for your generosity. |
